Federal Member for Canberra Gai Brodtmann has welcomed today’s news that the victims of Mr Fluffy asbestos are one step closer to a resolution.
“For nine months more than 1000 Mr Fluffy home owners and residents have been living in limbo,” Ms Brodtmann said.
“The uncertainty around their future has placed significant strain and stress on these families.
“I hope today’s announcement provides some relief and certainty to victims, particularly the 40 families who have been forced out of their home and into temporary accommodation.
“I look forward to hearing further details.”
